I've never had an Oris.  I do have a TSAR and it's one of my favorite watches.  It's quartz/tritium.

Not to complicate the issue, but you might look at the Boschett Reef Ranger, an automatic.  It seems like a great watch and you'll have money left over.

2 pieces have been done as far as I have seen. Jack at IWW did the first, the second was done by Duarte at NEWW.

That's the 2 guys, but I think it's up to 6 now.

I would like to see a pic of this mod as the dial feet and hands will not fit a eta 2824......they were made specifically for the quartz movement and there is a difference in thickness between the 2 movements from what I know and all this would also have to be changed and or modified....$150.? for a eta 2824-2 and all this labor?....someone needs to show me this....:D

I don't know about cost and movement price, but I know this has been done. A couple of guys over at MWR have had their's done. One by Jack @ IWW and one by Duarte @ NEWW.
