I hear ya.  While I appreciate the easy set-and-forget nature of my quartz pieces, they are missing the soul and coolness factor I find in my mechanicals.  I really prefer an auto movement.  Quartz vs. hand-crank is a little more of a toss up.

I am not really that much into chrono movements in general...I am starting to really appreciate the elegant simplicity of an uncluttered dial.

But something about this one just speaks to me.  Not sure if there's the substance necessary for a long-term relationship, but might be fun for a while. ;)
