It is very easy when a company produces a great product at a great price. Not a TV brand!!! Just a solid watch company!!!!!!!!With a great staff with great support. What more can you ask for....Just another arm to wear a watch on..LOLperfect.gif

Anyone know of a Euro distributor that one can get a Steinhart watch from and shipped State side?
They have some really nice watches that Debaufre does not offer on this side of the pond and I like to get my hands on some. Plus I kinda like the Steinhart name a little better. I still don't know how to pronounce Debaufre.

Thanks I just didn't know if they did that considering the whole Steinhart/Debaufre flap. Seems with the Dollar eeking up on the Euro that going that route might save some coin as well.

Here is my Nav B LE with some vintage German Gear. Sorry the picture is kinda poor. I don't have a good camera for closeups.

D.O., what "flap" are you referring to?

I meant when Steinhart US became Debaufre US because of another watch company didn't like the Steinhart name in the US and forced their hand to change names. I just didn't know if Steinhart would ship watches to the US, as to not step on Debaufre's toes. I like all their watches, its that there are a few newer ones that Steinhart has and Debaufre does not yet carry in the States, that I'd like to own. ThumbsUp02.gif

Hey Danny - just to confirm, yes, both companies will ship anywhere, i.e. Debaufre ships to Europe, Asia, etc and Steinhart will ship to the US.  I will add here the usual warning about overseas shipping; check your local import procedures so you know what to expect as far as taxes, tariffs, broker fees, customs delays, etc.  You would think that things like this would be standardized, but I have heard stories, both good and bad, about a wide variety of experiences folks have had when ordering overseas, either from the US to abroad or the other way around...so again, just a reminder to try and check as thoroughly as possible with your local government regulations so you know what to expect and are not taken by surprise by additional fees, taxes or broker bills....

Not an issue. Gunter Steinhart is great to work with, and I had my Triton in hand here in Raleigh within 48 hours of posting payment.

It comes down to price and the model you want. You're right, even though both brands come from the same place, their lineups aren't exactly the same. Strong dollar and weak Euro favor Steinhart at the moment, but who knows, in six months a Debaufre could be the better deal.
