CG has been saying "entirely Swiss made" a lot lately. I'm almost sure many of those Invictas are not entirely Swiss made considering they use Swiss Parts Movements, but I could be wrong.

Hey Mike.....I have heard it said a few times myself...but We all know Invictas are not All Swiss...LOL ! A few companies hold that distinction Like Patek,Breuget, etc.,even Jean Marcel is 100% Swiss..meaning every component in the Watch is made in Switzerland including all assembly taking Place There  CG has been saying "entirely Swiss made" a lot lately. Excuse me!  Are you trying to say that CG would say something that he knew was less than 100% truthful?    WOW!  hard to believe...........a man of his integrity.  It is simply baffling!

Thought I'd post a little something you may find interesting. Regardless of the laws of the Swiss for 'marking of watches', the only thing that matters in the USA is what the CBP thinks (Customs and Border Protection).

Attached is a link to a 16 page document on the proper marking and classification of watches and clocks. If you think they don't take this stuff seriously, guess again. Last year I had 100 pieces of Stovard Jurgenson time pieces denied entry into the US because the cases weren't marked properly.

Take a look. . .

Marc
