Hey Olde, that Orient is very nice.  What's it called or do you know the model #?

The model number is CET05001W  I have seen them refered to gmt models and there are several variations including a very nice blue dialed model :D

you can find them on the bay if you search for "orient GMT" though I didn't see the white dial one this morning. you should be able to get this one for under a hundred dollars anyway. I seem to remember that I paid 99 plus shipping but they can be had for as low as 80 now..

Fun topic!

I had a hard time at first, because I needed to define "Bang" in my mind...

"Came down to Accuracy and Aesthetics for me..All were pretty close to satisfying

the $100 to $300 parameters...Many of my watches allegedly sell for much more, I just didn't pay that much.

Number One is the Edox...I love this watch...Got it on eBay for $166 shipped.

If I did not feel guilty about ignoring my other watches I'd likely wear this every

day...

Got this Zodiac V Wolf on the'Bay as well $186 shipped....Very accurate, and built like a cinderblock Sh**house...

This Chase Durer was selected because it is super accurate and very nice looking..The most comfortable watch I own...$129 from a wholesaler

This little Sector made the list because it is dead nuts accurate...It has been tracking within 3 seconds of my atomic wall clock for 2 months....Easily my most accurate watch..I got the carbon dial version as well which gives ordinary quartz accuary...still very good but nothing like this little guy...Got 'em for $56 each on Overstocks year end close out.  The bracelet is worth the cost here too.

My final choice won out by a narrow margin (again because it is extremely accurate) over several other candidates..This Invicta was bought through a forum sale for $155 plus shipping and includes a Rolex bracelet.....Invicta Elite Chrono #9225

Watches that should have made my list and didn't. . ...

were my 9937, which gains 3 minutes a day,  My really coolSwiss Zeno chrono which turned out not to be Swiss, and  my Locman which I just don't like very much.  My Pumpkin Zodiac came in #6...I love that one too!  I have about forty watches roughly 2/3 are mechanical...I am quite surprised that my choices had 4 of 5 with quartz movements...'Didn't realize I was such an accuracy nut..My wrist time doesn't closely reflect these 5 choices though....Life is such a voyage of self discovery!
