Lest anyone be wondering what Ken was thinking about; see:

http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=18249&forum_id=1

Eddie Platts at Timefactors.com just sent out an update announcing, among other things, the relaunch of his PRS-3. If you are not already on the mailing lest for Timefactors do yourself a favor and sign up today.

Ken was referencing the fact Eddie no longer uses the mark "Broadarrow" as he had some dispute with Omega regarding this name. At any rate, Eddie has relaunched the PRS-3 designation under the Precista mark. And imho we should thank him heartily.ThumbsUp02.gif

The new PRS-3 is 42mm while the original was 39.5 I believe. Beefed up and with a first class SEL screwed link bracelet this is a must have for me. Additionally, the relaunch will include limited editions of 50 in blue, orange, and yellow dials accompanied by a matching strap. So have a look see.

Here's a shot of the four available models. Guess which one is on its way to me??toon1.gif

Just too bad the black dial is already sold out :(, even if the other colors are nice, the black was my favorite... Nice timepiece for sure hand6.gif

Well O, per Graham the blue be gone!! That makes the decision easier. The black dial offered now is also an LE as the standard model will not have the colored hand set.

Even with today's exchange rate this is still a great deal imho for a true LE. We all know the high quality of the watches Eddie puts out.

smile8.gifI have the blue on the way!  Sorry exchange rate does make it sting a bit though.  I am anxious to see the non-le, may have to have one of those toomistake.gif

Wow...I was on there last night as well after seeing Pax's post!!

I snoozed...never thought everything would sell out in less than a day!!!

These obviously have quite a following, especially in the LE offerings....

oh well...I guess my watch spending needs a bit of a breather anyway....
