Does anyone own a Junker....Not your car:D:D. I saw them for the first time on SNBC Monday night and they looked pretty nice but I know nothing about F/F reliability bla, bla..................Can someone clue me in...Thanks

I own the one below, and I love it. Product ID: 6434 Junkers 6434-2 Titanium Lufthansa Watch. Molnija movement Ref. 3603 , special edition with blued screws, anti-shock-system, hand-wound 18 jewels. Black face with small second display at 9 hours, digits and hands tritium covered for night viewing, case in lightweight titanium 43 mm, 47mm with crown, screwed exhibition glass case back to view movement, 5 atm (165 ft.) water resistant, handmade leather strap. Made in Germany, 2 year warranty.

As Pam stated, they are "Made in Germany," not Chinese watches hawked by a "German" company. Here are my two (one of each):

Take a peek (peak?) at http://www.longislandwatch.com Marc has just gotten in a bunch of new Junker models. I have three watches now with the molnija movement and I really like them. One is a Bypah that I just received. Pick up this months Hr magazine (or just look at it on the stand) for a nice big review of the company (Junkers).

Have a Molnija movement in my handwind Poljot aviator 43 from Poljot24.de. Think it's a 3105. Wind it every morning and is very accurate +4 a day without ever being regulated. A nice looking timepiece with an olive nylon Ballistic from TSS.(U.K.)

I'm not quite sure.............but I think the 3105 is a 17j Poljot movement (very good BTW) and what is typically referred to as the Moljina is an 18j Russian movement made by other than Poljot. In reference to German watches made in China, there are many....one brand, however (TRIAS) while marketing Asian watches, also has some very fine Swiss Made pieces utilizing both 17j and 25j ETA automatic movements and the 17j Unitas handwind movement!

Ken C Thanks. You are correct . I made the mistake. In my Poljot aviator is the 3603. That is the Moljina movement. It is very accurate and a nice looking movement as seen through the open caseback. Just like in the Junkers I think you love.

I have the Poljot Aviator with the 3105 and have just ordered a Buran Coin Edge w/3105 and the Poljot Flying Tank with the Moljina! It will be my 1st Moljina mvm't! You'll enjoy both. I got mine from Poljot24.de I again got the Aviator 43 and a ballistic from TSS He's reliable and fair in price. I think.
