The CRUX CX-4 vintage model arrived and it is awesome!....TY Kenneth for getting this watch on my wrist so quick Buddy! thankyou.gif
a few quick shots while dodging raindrops as a T-Storm is about to hit....the matte chocolate colored dial on this vintage model is beautiful and accented gracefully by the patina arabics and markers along with the black date wheel and red numbers...the polished SS hands glare in the light and the lume is excellent using C-3 superluminova...ThumbsUp02.gif
...the fit & finish is fantastic and the operation of the bezel and crown are smooth and precise...I especially like the crown seal located around the hole opening that resembles a rubber flange rather than a o-ring,I'll get some close-ups up asap...the CRUX came on a nice black bison textured leather strap with extra lug screws in a sweet 2 watch case that many of us are accustomed to but for the sake of those wondering what size strap will actually fit I mounted it on a 5mm thick TedSu ammo strap which if anyone who owns one of these straps knows that it is very generous in the leather dept. especially at the lugs which are more 25mm and meatier than most since they are made for the Panerai guys....well it fits like it was custom made for this watch and I love it!...this is a watch that will look awesome on an array of straps and colors imho...cool.gif
...I will get some more pics up asap once the rain stops with other strap variations like Zulus and rubber straps but until then I'm heading out to dinner with this gorgeous tool diver on my wrist and once again TY Kenneth! happy guy.gif

I really like the all cut in the case and bezel. I like the fact that it's a exagonal screw-head on the lugs: In my meaning, the best solution for clean and sctrachless strap changing.
The military dial is a clean and a timeless runner.
More pics buddy! Need to see the crown side and full face for the dial patina...
Congrats, you lucky old dog, you made me drooling!

Wow..Gumba looks great. What a clean design. Looks like a beast on the wrist26.gifPlease mare pics of the dial, especially the date wheel. Looks good from the angle shot. Just not sure how the black plays against the brown dial.

A winner for Kenneththumbsup.gif

soon as I wind down from my day I'll break out the camera equipment and macro lens and take some closeups of the dial and crown seal I spoke of as well as the special datewheel with red arabics which is only available on this model...the other 3 dials are black dials with white arabic dates on black so there are plenty dial choices to satisfy the appetites of WIS imo.....so far the CX-4 is simply awesome! insane.gif
