Ah ah! I always love to read your posts, you crack me up! And I can always use a good laugh! My friend, you do not have to be sorry for sharing your opinion, I’d rather you be honest (while remaining courteous as you did) and it really does not bother me. We don’t have to agree on all watches and manufacturers etc… I like that style a lot and wanted one but did not want to spend 500 or even 1000 dollars for a MKII for example. Not this type watch anyway, nothing wrong with them… Just not what I want to spend a lot of $ on at this point.
Also I have held the Alpha sub and was disappointed in its overall feel and quality, looks up close was not up to par for me. I have hope this one will be of higher build quality with a better case/caseback finish, nice applied indices… The specs are ok by me for the $ though it is a bit more than the Alpha, I grant you that. I have owned Sea-Gull mvt based wathces and had no issues myself though I am sure I could find horror stories on some of them. I had a Parnis wich had a sea Gull mvt which ran real nicely and looked ok as well. One of my colleagues own the Alpha Mil Sub, and while the finish is not real nice up close, the watch has been good to him and the mvt has been running +12 he says… anyways we’ll see. I hope the next Hager prototypes coming up have a better alignment. Some things still need to be worked obviously but I am looking forward to seeing it.

Not any watch for me yet...I wait for the right opportunity...
Hmmm, well, didn't see this Hager before but looked on it and the TY2806 mvt is a Sea-Gull ST16...
Apparently a Japanese inspired mvt made by the Chineses.
This is the mvt you find in the Alpha watches.
This Hager Commando is most likely fully made in China and not better than an Alpha: Not for me, I prefer to save my buks.
Also: Why the bezel's lume-dot never align with the top marker, even on them site?

I must say that the video(specialy the music) gave me a blastfart.gif
Sorry Brice: Just giving my opinion...
Thanks Brice! I'm having my load of fun here too!Yes, there's a ton of homages and similar watches: The thing is that with MIIK, you are sure of a quality standard and great lume. Once again, it seems like Hager has a trouble with the bezel alignment when I see all pics they posted... We'll find out soon when you receive yours anyway.
I, personnaly, am not about to buy any Seagull powered watch, neither thinking that they will rise one day and become collectors or appriciated on the market.
Seagull should at first: Concieve and not copy or get constantly inspired, if they want real recognition.
Seiko is recognise because they innovate: Seagull should watch and learn, not copy constantly.
Offcourse, innovation is costfull and it seems like they are just looking for short term profits...My opinion.
