Doxa finally announced the 4000T Sapphire Bezel!!!  bravo.gif

I think I may like the 4000T quite a bit more with the addition of these Sapphire Bezel options!!!cool.gif(although I'm still not a fan of the ss bracelet on the 4000T)

They look pretty good IMO....looking forward to seeing some Lume shots!  What do you guys think?

Info from Doxa:

Major 4000T Sapphire Model News!!!!!!

Hi everyone, there has been a lot of talk about this model over the past few months, and at some point after the initial announcement the project was abandoned due to technical difficulties resulting from Superluminova and the Sapphire bezel combination

We have worked hard with our suppliers on fixing this issue and wewere able to make this beauty come true. Now check the images of the final product. The Professional bezel will have orange glowing numbers, the Sharkhunter will have white/green glowing numbers, the orange 15 minute section on both models will glow orange.

We are issuing a limited run of 50 Sharkhunter and 50 Professional, they will begin shipping in October, eventually to be continued to a total of a 150 piece limited edition next year.

The factory price of this model is $2890.00, but as it was announced early this year to pre-order for $1990.00, the first 50 pieces will be available to pre-order at this price.
The team at DOXA watches Inc.

Like you I'm not a fan of the bracelet. Outside of all the BS and controversy that surrounded the launch of this watch, I gotta say I'm really liking what Doxa did with the new bezel!! Makes a big difference.
I like the Sharky especially.

Well, it's allready been written a long thread about this model here when it appeared: I will not come on it again.
The barcelet and the safe dive wasn't a good idea: That's all.
Good luck to Doxa and Walca Far-east!

Maybe this is just me but this bracelet is better than the usual BOR. Orange dial is ok but overall, I guess I'll pass, too. Same sentiment as the Sheriff.

The bracelet isn't ugly, it's just too classic, too seen and reviewed...Nothing special at all and a bit flat...
