LONGIO& ZHUKE: Bronze Submersion Watches & ZHUKE
In the 31th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair, the famous watch brand Longio of Hong Kong would together create the new collection “LONGIO.ZHUKE” with ZHUKE. The new style is a kind of submersion watch. Apart from the this style, there are 120 watch brands in total, among which there are 12 advanced world-renowned watch brands attending the Fair.

ZHUKE, in history, is a large bronze tripod, which is native to Chu Country. The tripod , weigh 400 kilograms, is the symbol of rights and status. Later, it refers to the handcraft-men who own professional skills and go through different countries. Now, ZHUKE has been a kind of attitude of improving. This new collection gives us power. More over, the quality and functions are reliable and pursuable.
Let’s hope.

Olivier walks warily down the street,
with the brim pulled way down low
Ain't no sound but the sound of his feet,
machine guns ready to go
Are you ready, Are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust

Never send your drawings to China...
Or did he choose a design among them catalogue? Who knows but him.

He's not the first to see his refused cases born again and will not be the last...
That's how it works with the case makers. Nothing gets lost, it's all used again.
Even Fricker done it apparently. But it seems even more commonly done in Asia.
Yes, looks like Olivier been having a deal gone wrong with Longio: That all his problem now.
If he didn't know the rules of the Asian game, he should't have come there to play.
I think Anders at Dievas made a wise choice when he turned back to a little fabric in Germany.

From an article on the net...Mi Changhong started Longio.
... Like most Chinese watchmakers, Longio started out as an OEM. Mi began to make components for European watch brands in 1996. Before Longio was started, Mi produced watches for some of the world's most luxurious brands...

Those "luxurious brands" most likely stamped as "Swiss Made" can wish that Mr Changhong never open his mouth about who they are.
There's some skeletons in the closet of Longio and the day they will come out: Those brands will be discredited.
I have my thoughts about some brands like many others: But until now, we have no proof.
I would challenge Anonymous to get a look into Longio's secret list and reveal to the world the names of those who fooled us

guys, I have met Mr. Mi, I had dinner with him in 2011. He is a great guy. We have not been using Longio for the last few years but they are a top level factory and we could partner with them in the future if we decided to do so.

I have always thought that Longio made this bronze case. The Zhuke does look great and I have been impressed with Longio's other offerings with their brand on the dial. They are marketing as a luxury Chinese brand to Chinese customers.

When we make our custom cases and pay for the molds, our parts remain our own and are not shared with other companies, this is because we have a close relationship and we always pay for what we produce.

agreed Steve,Longio produces some nice watches, but it all comes down to the truthfulness of Olivier who has been claiming German made since day 1,when it wouldn't have mattered if he said Longio/HK to begin with if they were in fact the primary manufacturer..

I'm on the same page as Oscar. Longio been making and is making good quality cases.
But the point to have them made there is the much lower cost compare to a Swiss or German product: This lower cost should follow to the customer.
We all know what we buy when a brand is kind of cheap price, "Swiss made" (under the percentage Swiss law)...
But a "luxury brand" claiming Swiss manufacture, high premium price and who got parts done by Longio: I call that shitting in our boots.
Mr Mi has nothing to do with that: He just do what he's asked for and if he don't do it, someone else in HK will do it for him. He's a business man.
That's the "luxury brand" who steal, lie and cheat there.
For Olivier, well, he wasn't asking the moon for his watches: Still he lied apparently...That's the only trouble.
