Goshin wrote:I'm not able to understand what's happening to the company. He's got watches, but not able to send them out to customers? Not communicating. Look at the Facebook page. Filled up with complaining customers. Why doesn't he just delete his profile? Who knows what O.T has in his head right now... Credibility is gone and at this point, he should just send the watches and sink the ship. Yeah, I've been following the struggle of Dan&OWC since long(2-3 years) and even told him that he would meet a mountain cliff with his Orange name back in the days: But he's stubborn and preferred to try a climb... Well, he's got some courage to argue so long with his "case chick": I would have sent her to be eaten by crabs in the bottom of my fjord if you ask me. I never understood him on his strategy but he does as he want: At list, he seems to keep his promises. I'm just not hooked at all on his watches: Looks like zillion others coming from Asia into my eyes and I look for something else if I go for a small brew. I went for the Helberg preorder as the company already had a past with H20 and showed seriousness. This bubble model will be something you don't see at every corners: That's what I like.

Here are the patina shots I promised. I hate how this watch had began to patina. Nothing like other brands who have made bronze watches. So I decided to try the boiled egg patina method on it even though I said it would not do anything to speed up the patina. The boiled egg process only made the watch look worse. I tried removing the patina with lemon juice, but that didn't work. So I tried to the tooth paste on it, and it worked a lot better. It's not quite as bright as it was when it was shipped but it looks a ton better than that crappy patina I had before.

Tooth-paste it is then! I see your trouble there: This patina is really not what any WIS is looking for when buying a bronzo. I bet you can forget the freebies from Olivier since you don't make him publicity there but as we say: Only the truth hurts... And he deserve it all the way since his bronze choice turned into a fiasco for most of the customers except one guy on WUS who seems to deny uncovering his secret... Thanks for the pictures!

WOW, glad I read through this post till the end. Other posts with great comments about this company, only to find this one where the truth is. Was just about to put down a deposit, but think I'll keep looking. Customer service and truthfulness goes a long way. None of this.... no purchase from me. Thanks to all for the helpful comments and allowing me to make an informed choice. Robert
