I know we've got serious fans of Vintage VDB creations here at 3T!

They have released some Prototype pics of a couple of the upcoming VDB2014's. I'm not normally drawn to fully polished pieces, but the Polished 3-hand model with that radial brushed bezel is HOT IMO. wowzer.gif

I'm liking the clean look of the 3-hand model in general, which will be available in ss and Ti.

What do you guys think?

The pics...

I'm liking the 3 hand a lot, Chris. But just my 2 cents:

1) the hands should be fatter, at least the hour hand
2) why stamp 2014 on the dial? Is it called the 2014?
3) picture #3 is amazing...wondering how blue indeces would look like

Overall, this is a winner. Hope I can get one.

Thanks Jeff. All good points!

When I originally saw just the renderings, I had the same thought regarding the hands too...seemed like they needed to be thicker. I agree they could be a little thicker, but I definitely think they look better on these prototypes than the computer renderings that previously existed.

Regarding the 2014 on the dial...yes, that is the model name. VDB has done this for the 2011, 2012, 2013, and now the 2014 models.

The 3-hander will be offered in ss and Ti...I'm not completely clear on the finishing that will be used on the Ti (brushed versus blasted), but it appears that the ss version will be the only polished offering.

One thing is for sure...I need to add something from VDB!

I real like the look of the two tone GMT . One small complaint is the globe logo slightly clutters an other wise stunning dial.

I own the 2011 and the 2013 models and they are superbly made. The silver dial is what I want in the polished..

The 2014 looks so awesome, like all the other models of VDB !
Especially the case shape with the bezel are really impressive.

Like Chris already said, full polished pieces are not my first choice. But this model looks awesome.

The dial looks gorgeous, silver-grey bravo.gif Love it...

I am big fan of this brand.
