I'm sure you guys are seeing this information out there.

This latest Teaser from Omega on their Facebook page (and also noted on OceanicTime), sure seems to confirm that Omega will be introducing a re-edition of the iconic Seamaster 300 at Basel 2014 (just look at that case shape and seconds hand!).

I'm pretty excited about this one, and will be looking forward to seeing the details.thumbsup.gif

Looks pretty good there Patrik...where did you see this pic posted? It is my first time seeing it in a clear reveal! It looks a bit like a cross between the Seamaster 300 and the Planet Ocean (with more dna from the PO IMO). Do you think this is a real view or someone's attempt at a Photoshopped version?

I like the look, but the "teaser photo" from the facebook view is carrying pretty different proportions than this clear view...even the seconds hand looks a bit different (the teaser actually had the white seconds hand as done on the original vintage SM300).

Hmmm.....

The person who posted the photo is known on Instagram for busting fake watches. Since he posted this as the real thing, im taking his word for it. However, Hodinkee left a comment and said that they have seen the real watch, but left no comments about if this pic is a fake.

Looking back on the previous release of the new Speedmaster Mark II. It feels like this one is missing something. It just does not have the feeling of new and fresh.

But like i said. I still think this one looks good, but....

Thanks for the extra info Patrik...and I really do appreciate you posting up this clear view, definitely gives me something to chew on!

I look at that and think the same thing...something is missing and not quite consistent (the thing that I noticed right away was the seconds hand and case proportion differences). I'd like to see a bit more "vintage-esque" influence in the handset for instance (those hands shown in the clear view are just too modern/PO influenced IMO).

I guess we will see...

My hopes are that this clean pic is just another teaser in reality. But when Basel 2014 opens it doors we will get to know. (Basel app downloaded).

Im no expert on Omega, but didnt the Seamaster always have that wave pattern/texture on their dials?

Thanks Patrik!

Here are a couple more Omega teaser photos from their Facebook page.

That vintage lumed dial "almost" looks like a sandwich dial at first glance, but I think those are placed markers.

Thank you for those pics!

It does look like a sandwiched dial. But im wondering if they have actually mixed both for ex: 12,3,6,9 are raised and the rest is coming through the sandwich? Should give the dial a nice 3d effect.

Ah yes, the clasp looks interesting. The marking on the underside that says "PUSH", diving extension that slides out perhaps?

Also something that struck me  just now. All these pics might be teasers of different versions of the same model. This way we wont have a complete picture of how the basic watch actually will look?
