With Baselworld 2014 underway, what are some of your favorites?

I have just barely started to look at what's being revealed, but here are a few of my favs so far:
1) Omega Seamaster 300 re-edition (and it really does have a sandwich dial!)
2) Omega Speedmaster Mark II (awesome chrono IMO...was actually revealed pre-basel)
3) Rolex Sea Dweller 4000 (ceramic bezel and all)
4) Rolex GMT Pepsi is pretty cool IMO (love that two color pepsi ceramic bezel, but I wish the case was ss instead of white gold to keep the price down)
5) Tudor Black Bay (The Blue Bezel version looks sweet!)
6) Tudor Heritage Ranger (I'm diggin' that classic 3-6-9-12 dial along with the 41mm case size (which I suspect some will hate and some will like)...I happen to think the 41mm will work well with the case design).

What are your favorite pieces so far?

A few pics...

Omega Seamaster 300 (real world pic borrowed from watchinsider.com)

Speedy Mark II

Sea Dweller 4000

GMT MasterII Pepsi (in white gold, it will be crazy expensive...why not ss)

Tudor Black Bay (Cool Blue)

So far the Speedmaster Mark II has been my favorite. Old classic that now feels fresh and improved.

The new Seamaster 300, still lacks something imo. Looks nice but it did not give me the "have to own" vibes. But that just me.

Now i might be stepping out on some thin ice here. However  remember that is just my personal opinion. The Speedmaster Apollo 11 anv edit (another one)....Im kind of getting bored with them. Looks awesome, but it feels like Omega is now more into milking the whole Apollo 11 thing instead of celebrating the men involved with this astonishing feat.

I think all of them appeal to me but what stands out are the Tudor in blue and the Pepsi, although issuing a WG model just simply means an all steel is afoot.

Love that Blue dialed Milgauss too...seems to be lots of great stuff surfacing at Baselworld...

...I'm really liking the Omega SM 300...here's a pretty sweet pic up close. Matte dial, vintage lume, and the implementation of the sandwich dial looks really good IMO!

over at TRF, a case has been made that the new Pepsi will never be issued in SS. Although a precedent has been set for the YM2 from WG to SS, maybe a Pepsi in SS can still be possible. A Pepsi is something I missed when it was still being made. Drat!

The Milgauss in blue dial is also a very unique piece with ALL the colors helping each other out. Now I'm even more confused.....BB in blue? Milgauss in blue? BLNR? New SD? Hmmmmm.....

you are correct Jeff...the new pepsi GMT will not be made in SS according to those in the know at Basel, but that doesn't mean you still can't get an existing pepsi my friend, the aftermarket has plenty and the local ADs here still have them in stock, although I see them selling pretty fast upon hearing this news!chickendance.gif
