I'm thinking on these Oscar.

They look pretty sweet...and given the specs, this one is ever-so-slightly smaller than the last several serial offerings from VDB (which is a positive for me personally, as I have concluded that the VDB 2014 is just a bit too big on my girly wrist!). subtlelaugh.gif The case design shows some design cues (with some design changes), to one of the custom line case designs that VDB has produced in the past.

(I still find myself really liking the looks of the No-Limit 2015 model, as well as, the 2016 model which I fear might be too large...but it looks really great IMO).

Would be very interested to hear other's thoughts...

Saw this low resolution prototype (sub-pic) out there on instagram indicating a sandwich/sandwich-like dial for the indices, which looks great.

I really like the 2016. Only the small hands let me think about.

Regarding the 2017 I am not sure.

The shown pic from VDB says not all about the watch.

The biggest "fail" is the big rectangled 2017 on the dial.
Is too big for me.
Only the year would be great.

Agree with you 100% on the huge rectangle Phil.

Would look MUCH better if they had just printed the series year without the huge rectangle, like you said.

The other thing I noticed was the side CAD views of the case that they show on their site don't quite match the main front view of the case that they show (the view that Oscar posted above). The case in the CAD side views have case lines similar to the case used on the patriot and a couple other custom VDBs.

Yes Chris, the Patriot case looks closer.

Christian says the lettering (2017) will be reworked.
I hope so.
Many customers want that.

WOW Phil! wowzer.gif (I completely missed your post!!!)

That definitely looks much better than the initial teaser pics had us believe. The case design is much more complex and detailed (in a good way).

Looks really great! bravo.gif

And it looks much better with the black background on the "year box".

The white box was too much.

Absolutely agree Phil!!!

Huge improvement on that "year box" design...looks much better. I would actually like to see them shrink the size of that serial version logo for an even better look.

This is really an impressive case design. I'm finding myself liking this one very much, AND it might even fit my girlie wrist!!! subtlelaugh.gif
