Is there a way to make the hour hand pointed? Like the minute hand. Just a suggestion.

Hey glen how about modifying your pic a lil and maybe adding a black second hand w/yellow tip? How would that look.

Here's an example on my Seaplane:

Attention Please:
I think everyone needs to understand that there will be No redisigning the Orsa....Lume in Green form as James mentioned is the final product with 3T on the Dial at this Time unless otherwise notified by James...Glens rendition is just a close facsimlie :) For Orsa and James to consider doing a 3T LE is enough for me and I can't begin to Thank him enough:)....33 pieces (possibly more)....1st. come 1st. serve...this thread is for those interested in purchasing. We need a commitment of 25 to move forward.I am writing the names down as members are committing to a purchase. This Orsa LE will be for 3T Members  .Please take the Time to read James posts in this thread for some insight...nothing is cast in stone as of yet until James gets back to us. I would like to just keep everyone on track as it takes Time to get a Watch to production and if James can get us something by Christmas it would be a Very Generous Miracle that would be Awesome !thankyou.gif

Was I out of line by suggesting to glen about the second hand? if so I dont want to step on any toes here and I only made the suggestion because it soughta look like my Seaplane is all.

Btw hey so how will this work ? does he want the total up front or 50% now and the other when the watch shows up? Maybe I should just wait and see.

Hello all!

Not to worry about my toes!  They can take it!

But I have to say thank you to Oscar for stating, perhaps more firmly, what I am trying to gently say - in order to get this project off the ground a lot of little things need to happen:

1.  We need to confirm that we have enough parts to run the 33 - cases, dials and crowns.  We are FAIRLY confident that the answer to this is yes, however, it will be confirmed when Berg completes his inventory this week.

2.  We need to secure enough ETA movements - for those who are interested, the movement is the ETA 2824-2  and as you know it is modified for a 6 o'clock date.  We are hunting these down now, and hope to source them in the US.  If we cannot, then we have to either order directly from ETA - which will push us back well past December, and sort of defeats the whole purpose of what we are trying to accomplish by keeping it quick and easy.  I have found another ETA movement that might fit the bill - but I will need to do some more research on it, and make sure that our assembler is in agreement with its use.

3.  We need to get the dial and hands modified.  I think that the possibility of re-luming some of the indices in the 3T Green (either 4 or 6) and the tips of the hour and minute hands is very do-able - BUT this costs money for each step.  We want to hit as close to your price outline as possible, yes it will certainly have a 3T logo!  Don't worry about that.  We are also going to investigate the possibility of having the model number (i.e. 1/33) on the dial - what do you think?

4.  We would need deposits of at least 50% from all interested parties.

Having said all of that, Berg and I are very excited about this project, and want to make it happen.  We are hopefully nearing the finish line.  I promise to keep you posted!

Your friend at Orsa -

James Henderson

Puting the 1/33 on the dial sounds Great! Who will be responsible for taking the orders? I don't wish to be counted out. I've been waiting for an orsa for some time now.LOL.
