Hello 3T!

I spoke with Berg earlier today, and we have a possible solution to help "put some wheels" under this project and get it moving.

We have between 30 - 50 of the black dials that were used in the black orsa run of earlier run this year. In addition, we also have cases, crowns, everything that we need ALREADY!

If we can get our hands on enough ETA ebauches, we would be ready to roll. Here is what we would do:

Take the original black dials, have a 3T logo applied, and then have it "re-lumed" to create a green lume effect for the hour/minute markers. We would do the same with the hour and minute hands. Because we already have these supplies, we would not have to special order anything, thus keeping the cost down, and so long as we could lay hands to enough ebauches, we could have this entire project done quickly - maybe as early as Christmas. I NEED TO STRESS - this is assuming that we can get the ebauches and that we have enough orders. We could run as small a number as few as 25 or so (more expensive), and MAYBE as many as 50 (less expensive), but this is depending upon our ability to lay hands to enough of the black dials - we will need to do a final head count.

ALSO - these would be assembled in the US, NOT in Swizerland. The upside of this is a quicker turn-around, and a slightly higher quality than the earlier versions.

It SHOULD also mean a fair certainty that we can lock in a lower price than if we had to do the whole thing from scratch. It does mean that in terms of a full-on new dial design, etc. it would have to wait for a later run.

Please let me know what you think of this option.

Like I said before- Yesssss I want one! I was contemplating on purchasing a used black orsa, then this LE 3T came up. So I waited. Now Im in the stage of selling off some of my nonwrist time pieces to make room and some $$$ for this LE orsa.

I am trying to picture this in my mind. Would the relume create a substantial "green effect"? Perhaps the 3T logo should be a similar green to bring the effect out and give it some pop.

Sincere thanks for the fast track as i believe I am deserving of a Christmas present for myself...

This is really a wonderful opportunity for all of us>

Many thanks to Orsa!!

Cheers,

Pax

Hello again everyone!

Okay - it looks like we've got some motion going. I saw an earlier scan with a black dial, logo and green effect?

We are thinking of a limited run 33 pieces. This means that we would need 25 pre-orders. Berg is consulting the supplies to ensure that we will have everything that we will need, and confirm pricing. We will be back to all of you shortly.
