Doc..........here is a link giving a brief history....Daniel Mink, I beleiev, was, at one time, a very high end "boutigue" watch in the $10,000+ range.  On his death, the company was sold to the Montreux group

My diver is of exceptional quality.  Although I do own some high end (priced) watches like Rolex and Breitling, it takes a lot for me these days(because there is so much fun to be had in the $200 range) to spend over $300 on a watch.  My Daniel Mink Diver is worth every cent of the $360 I paid for it!

Awesome Link Johnny!hand6.gif There are a few D. Mink around with the Lemania 5100 too.  A reputable watch manufacture well tell you what type of movement is in there watches. Caution if they state high grade doesn't mean a frickin thing. JMO:D Here is an article link.

Thanks guys.  I saw the diver at TJMaxx for around $300 last weekend.  Not being into Divers I wasn't sure if it was a deal or not.  Sure was BIG and heavy.  I also found two of the watches on eBay for $599 BIN which makes me think that they came from somewhere retail:shock:

Getting back onto the original topic.

Never mind - I had written something rather lengthy about this but then it occurred to me - Why?
