Oscar..................thanks for the update, and I will, of course, take you at your word...as I always do.  I only hope the people making promises to you are as scrupulous in their commitments as you are........but, again, I think the shipped price needs to be rethought!

Ken,
I've searched all the posts that I can find on 3T and can't seem to locate any that quote the cost of the Orsa 3T L.E. as now being "$600" as you indicate.  Where did this information come from?
Charlie

If you use the "Search" engine on this forum you can get pretty good results.....I simply entered "$600" and looked thru the posts found.

I would like to ask all 3T members to remain Positive as I have been in touch with James and Martin in regards to the Orsa/3T Fetivus in the past 2 days and feel very confident that everyone will be more than Pleased!hand6.gif I have not lost faith in Orsa and have been told that I can expect a surprise as to the final Design of the Orsa/3T which will be a Surprise to me as well once the Festivus arrives some time this weekcool10.gifI can say that once the Festivus arrives I can devulge what I know about some warranty changes that will be a welcomed addition! The production amount which will be a true LE of only 33!...33 in keeping with the 3T tradition!watch2.gifThe delays were unfortunate but in any production delays are sometimes uncontrolable as this Orsa/3T LE is a very special production assembled in the U.S.A and has made several stops at different companies and has traveled from Canada to several locations in the U.S.A...  many should know when e-mails and phone calls are used between  parties involved as well as approval ...this takes Time... and yet still completed in a Timely manner imho!...earlier Posts,Prices and Timelines made by James were done Enthusiastically and with the information that was available to him at that Time and in No way do I  hold James or Martin/Orsa Watch at fault for being as excited as we were and Hopefully still are!hand6.gif The proof will be in the Orsa/3T LE "Festivus"Sea Angler as I am very excited to see the Watch in all it's Glory shortly...which at that Time I will give My Honest evaluation along with Pics and a Review as I will be seeing the "Festivus" for the first Time myself ! Please remember this is Not a regular Orsa Sea angler run which is manufactured in one location and should not be looked at in that manner from a price point nor any comparison to past Sea Anglers!...The "Festivus" is available to 3T members only and was made especially for us in a run less than any other LE that Orsa has made to date.hand6.gif Thank You all for your patience and to James and Martin of Orsa Watch as all expectations will soon be Revealed and any doubts be put to rest!

Oscar, I am one of the biggest proponents of the Festivus but going back through the threads, we were given very specific timelines and pricing information as to how things would proceed. Enthusiasm is wonderful but does not make up for the inability to meet expectations which were set by James' post(s). To me this is fundamentally poor customer realtions. I am not overly interested in surpises either as the surprise may or may not be to my liking. I was quite happy with the rendering provided along with the timelines stated earlier. I do not believe this will be done for Christmas, especially if the custome signatures are going to take more than a few days. Quite frankly, I have reallocated the funds needed for the Festivus to the Doxa GMT Caribbean I expect to be opening on Christmas Day.

Please do not take this as my saying I am out of the mix, but I am skeptical, unenthused and frankly do not have much confidence in ORSA's promises based on what has occurred thus far. I do want to commend you and James for giving this a good go, but at this point I will believe it when I see it. Yo should have had your watch in hand at the beginning of the month and unless the thing is sporting a sapphire cyrstal and makes coffee, the delay you are experiencing is unacceptable, especially considering you made payment. I am worried this is par for the course with this vendor as rubber straps seem to be at a premium too. If you are in the business of selling a product, you should have all elements of that product avaialble before you take dollar one... empty expectations are hard to recover from and a reputation has and is developing and being reinforced by continued gaffes and excuses... After all we are cutomers and should be treated as such.

Just my opinion and sorry to say I am disppointed in the extreme...

Pax

Okay....................I will now offically change my outlook from "negative" to positive, woohoo.gif but disappointed !

The manufacturing process was their choice and all of the stars should have been in alignment before definitive timeline commitments were mademistake.gif....otherwise, the enthusiasm dies and expectations increase!

Enough said.......we will sit at the foot of the master and await his photos!!!! yourock.gif

I understand completely Mark!...I tend to live in the Positive and believe in giving second chances rather than dwell on negativity...but in saying that there are those that know I have been used as a doormat on many occasions until my patience has been tried or my integrity assasinated! So until then as you are giving Doxa that same second chance I will remain Positive and commited to the Orsa/3T Festivus.hand6.gif

Late to the party - sorry.

Can someone point me to the mock-ups or whatever specs and model mods are being discussed?

Thanks.
