There was another thread about this that I was going to add to, but I couldn't find it. Hopefully, this will come out right, but I am beginning to lose faith in ORSA. Oscar was supposed to have had his watch, I believe, by September 21...it is now late November and it is still "nowhere to be found". I was very excited about the watch at first, but it seems every commitment made has been missed. Delivery is nowhere and the price has creeped up from the original "less than" $500 to $600..............Although I thought $600 was high for a "start-up" ETA2824-2 based Dive watch (and much higher than their previous "deliveries"), I was willing to pay the premium for delivery by Christmas. It looks like that is not going to happen and, I am seriously reconsidering the purchase of a watch from a company that cannot meet its commitments! I am certainly not willing to pay the $600 price for a watch delivered after Christmas.........3T LE or not! Am I PO'd about the broken promises? Yes!!! Understand, this is not the fault of Oscar or 3T.......this is about promises made and NOT kept by ORSA!

Wow!! I didn't realize it was this bad!! I must admit to having my concerns all along... I am sad to say it appears the rap ORSA has been given by the WIS community is more true than false. Communication is key for a collabrative project and in my opinion, 3T has communicated its position clearly. The price has done nothing but rise while the targets set by 3T have disappeared. It seems a rather lopsided eal at this point and quite frankly, I have to admit Ken's comments regarding Christmas delivery are hitting home with me at this point. Expectations have been set and dropped. The iron is cold. There is no momentum except backwards... We have been playing a 1 step forward 2 steps back game for over a month now!! I would hope ORSA and/or its representatives can answer this thread with some solid information. Be honest about what and when you can deliver the goods as it appears you are either unable to meet your set objectives or are overstepping when making cimmitments to said objectives. At any rate, we're entitled to information, honest inormation. There are a lot of vendors yammering at me for my Christmas watch fund... Pax

Sometimes i wonder if Ken is living in my head... I got the email and though Ihave my issues with DOXA I am trembling at the bit... I seriously wonder if the FESTIVUS is going o get done any time soon and in any number beyond the proto/custom dial we've seen. I've seen bits and pieces but no watch as of yet. I am disappointed to say the least and would hope our friends at ORSA would come forward sooner rather than later with realistic and attainable goals. Carribean?? Pax

EH!............... What is disconcerting to me at this point is all of the screwing around and promises. We almost immediately settled on a design, that ORSA decided to change without concurrence........we got continuous options that later got withdrawn....we got promises of LE then no numbering then name dials then no name dials, quantities changed..............to me, it seems like and endless Monkey Frak. For me to buy now, I want to see Oscar's watch delivered to him immediately and definitve firm commitments an dates! Otherwise, it's all Smoke & Mirrors..........hopefully, this will all get quickly resolved and I will be thrilled with the end product, but bottom line....an LE 3T watch would be great, but there are too many other watch companies out there to do business with. So, where do others stand on this??? BTW.........everybody...........please take a look at my thread down below that watch sale forum. Thanks

I t remians to be seen what will follow and when. I would expect to know EXACTLY what to expect from the watch and when to expect it. Speaking of doing business with other watch companies... I just did and that is my Christmas watch as I am quite certain ORSA will not produce the FESTIVUS in time for Christmas as we were lead to believe. Pax

I don't like to kick a person when they are down, But I am with the rest of you guys. I don't have the money that this watch is going to cost. But I wanted it real bad. So I sold a couple of my watches to fund it. Now I'm out a couple of watches and no LE watch to show for it. I'm thinking of spending the money on another watch that I normally would not get because of the funds.:(
