No I kind of played it safe with the mineral, and if I break it I can get another fit quick.  The price was a little high I though, and after the Candino I started to wonder.

Mark the Candino which is a great watch company and I would recommend them.  They do work for other brands and will do limited production pieces, custom, and etc..  The watch was presented as being like new with some minor scuffs.  The bezel looks like it had been beat off of rocks or hit with a hammer that had a serrated face.  The bracelet was about 50% of the original finish left and that is being nice.  The bracelet was missing some friction collars for the pins, and my wrist is larger than his but I got it to work.  The watch that was shown in the pics was after it had been refinished, took 2 hours and that is using commercial buffers and 12 inch diamond grinding wheels.  It is still not up to my standards.  If I would have pulled a stunt like that I would have been kicked off the forum.  I learned than that James had very little experience or carring for watches.  In hind site I should have said something but I would have been the lone ranger and I have been there and done that.  I can pick almost all production pieces apart, most people do not look at a watch with such a critical eye.  It tends to be an emotional experience and you can not reason with emotion.

Holy fluck!!! That scumbag sent you a beat to scheis piece!! What a turd. Did you let him the conditionof the watch was not as he represented. I can understand why you held back from dumping on him while the project was underway, but you must have been displeased with the deal. Furhter proof that JS Henderson is a complete douchebag...

I have to say your efforts had great results. Looking at the watch you posted I would never have believed it had been so abused. You obviously performed a labor of love and you have my utmost respect for that reseurection.

Pax

I have not, but Tony is farther north so you would think that ground would have reached him first.  If I was running a scam I would send out a few and make sure they would not pass customs, and get them sent back in order to buy time.  Mark them as drugs and get them confiscated and go through that ordeal.  Something that would confuse the situation and put the liability on someone else.  Before someone says something smart, you do not start working intelligence at 18 by not being great at deception.  No matter how you spin it you are constantly breaking the law, or else you suck.
