The Silver Sea Angler is well done overall. I owned the orange asian version so I can see some finishing improvements with this Swiss Made version. The only thing that seems to be lacking is the lume. Definitely not Swiss Tritec. Probably asian lume and very light on the application.

Are you still gonna flip it? I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed that Orsa would cut corners on the lume. They need to get it together... or may be just fade away...

Enjoy it if you keep it and if you don't enjoy it... flip it!!

Pax

Thanks for the response.  I was kicking the idea around of picking one up but I have some reservations due to recent events.

If this doesn't frost my>>>>>>>>>>>>

took advantage of the lowered price and picked up one of the silver dial Orsa Sea Anglers. I admit that yes, communication with Martin Berg is spotty at best, but they shipped out my watch on Monday (the 4th) and I received it on Friday (the 8th), so thats pretty fast to me. The watch itself is a chunky piece of steel, and so far over three days it has kept perfect time (not even 1s off) - possibly the most accurate ETA 2824 I own.

I do realize the origin of the post, but do not doubt that O let loose on them about the delay and others have complained in the beginning, given the typical shipping experiences.
