I have been answering emails all morning on those damn watches. Why can't they just buy the watch at the price listed instead of trying to trade up to a better watch?

Sean,

LOL! I feel your frustration. I too have been doing this quite some time now  (buy/sell/trade) and the selling part can be trying.  The advent of buying/selling/trading on the "internet" has brought on a whole new set of "standard protocol" or etiquette that hopefully we all follow. Just have fun with it, have a drink, and fire those emails back :P

Catch ya laters
Erik

Steve,

Hahahahehe :D

Well my buy/sell ratio is probably about  buy 10, sell 1 (10/1)

but my wife would probably happier if it were the other way around (1/10) :)

Erik ;)

I have bought way to many this year. I need to do a sell off to get what I really want. I have 2 watches on hold, if these sell. if they don't, I'll buy them anyways. I'm upping my Vixa collection:D

You can sell them?  J/K, my wife has given me a moratorium, either I sell some or I can't buy any more.  Then again, I am not supposed to buy any more anyway :P

I have a bunch I need to send out.  Everest is getting my Poljot "Hanhart" homage this week, and I have a 6309 to go to NEWW for beadblast, plus I just ordered all the parts and base watch to make a Tudor style diver (Sandoz sub, Yao milsub dial and black date wheel, and snowflake hands).  I have a Seiko bullhead to go to Kent after the Poljot, and am still trying to decide whether to restore a 6139 chrono and a 6105 diver or sell them.

After buying many different style divers, I find myself attracted back to the classic sub style which explains my recent O&W purchase.

I am gonna be in even more trouble, sigh... ;)

Cheers,
Griff

I got my 1st insult! it is turning into fun after all! Some guy referred to the Nivrel as basement shopping, and when I come to my senses I should sell it to him dirt cheap. Nivrel makes some of best, most reliable watches out there.

Throw some insults my way guys! I need a good laugh:D
