:)  Team, I am new to this forum. I've been a long time reader of the Equation of Time diver forum.  Since EOT changed to its new format - I only go to see what's for sell (it takes too long to navigate...and read the replies).  I own a black dial ORSA sea angler.  It's a great watch.  I would modify just a couple of things; increase the lumes and add a stainless steel fitted bracelet (wishing for a bracelet similar to the PRS Dreadnought).  I see everyone's T3 Orsa...can you fill me in...How? Where? and Cost?

How much brighter are the lumes? comparison photos would be great

Where can I get the lume mods?

What is the cost of the mods?

I have worked with James Henderson from ORSA - excellent customer service!!!  I would recommend ORSA to anyone who wants a good value diver's watch.  I wear my ORSA everyday and I love it!!!

Thanks in advance for your support,

cvo

Glad to see you here. Some of the other guys will chime in for sure on your Orsa questions. Quite a few here own the watch.

1st, Welcome to 3T.

I have the Orangina, Lume Dial and 3T versions of the Orsa Sea Angler.  The lume on the 3T is, by far, superior to the others.  To the best of my knowledge, the dials, hands and date wheel are modified and customized by Kent Parks, who then hand assembles and pressures tests each one.  Bottom line, it is my favorite.

happy1.gifThank you all for welcoming me to this forum...I am already hooked!  The discussions seem to be more lively than other similar forums.  I look forward to reading more about other ORSA 3T designs and diver watches.  I hope everyone has a safe and fun Saturday!

Eric....I believe so but only Oscar knows for sure as they are very limited production.  Yes it is the high end nickle ETA 2824-2 movement.
