Invicta was awarded 2717 COSC Certificates in 06. To put it in perspective Rolex was awarded the most at 710,752. O, I am sure you have one or 2 of them, how are they holding up? It is an open question for anyone that has an COSC Invicta, I am assuming the majority of them would have been Selitta Watch Co. movements. ROLEX 710,752 OMEGA 257,187 BREITLING 182,223 PANERAI 46,454 CHOPARD 23,462 ULYSSE NARDIN 10,111 CORUM 8,189 TAG HEUER 7,450 CHANEL 6,980 MIDO 5,722 PORSCHE DESIGN 3,892 BULGARI 3,698 EBEL 3,516 MONTBLANC 3,471 INVICTA 2,717 TITONI 2,018 ZENITH 1,917 RADO 1,805 ETERNA 1,706 ENICAR 1,672 PAUL PICOT 1,638 SINN 1,596

I dont like the way they've whored themselves out ......they used to make decent watches and probably still do , but they also make peices of junk and their service sucks ..... buying an Invicta is a crapshoot .... I dont like the way they copycat either ..... It is hard to tell the difference between whats Swiss-made ... whats Swiss movements ... whats Japaneze movements and or chinese or whats what with them ?!?!?!

Is there a cut off point that invicta started going down hill? Such as What Year were the good movements and what year did they start to whore themselves out? (classic) Thanks men

I have owned some very good Invicta watches. Still have some. Their service is bad. I think when the Lupah craze hit things changed. The original Lupah was fine. But then, it was Lupah everything. Then Eyal's greed took over (IMHO) and away Invicta went down their road of horrible customer service and shove-em out the door watches. Today, it is still a crap shoot. But, you can still find a gem now and then from the company. However, I haven't heard anything about the CS changing.

I like my 8926 coin edge a lot, it runs well and looks good. Of course it is a copy, but it will be awhile before I can afford the real thing unless I start a major sell off, and I love variety :D Speaking of copying, I saw an Invicta last night that is a carbon copy of the Zeno Airplane/Mondia diver. Same case, same style dial, only with a Miyota instead of an ETA. Supposedly <$200. Cheers, Griff
