Thanks, guys! Took a cue from some 1950s vintage 1-piece straps I have here and made this one yesterday:

Wears sort-of like a cuff. Lost the little screw for the bronze buckle, but have one heading my way.

I've got my first Alpina incoming (not a regulator), and I'm looking forward to checking out the brand which seems to only have positive reviews as far as I can tell.

Thanks Chris! Most of Alpina models are housing modified ETA movements. The in-house serial comes with different color dials but the same features: Hours/minutes/date and are delivered on rubber only.
I had to order the bracelet separately from Frédérique Constant who owns Alpina in Geneva.

Exactly! Mine's a modified (by Sellita) 6498. Kicks ass nonetheless... I'll be interested to see what you have incoming, Chris.homerthinks.gif

Thanks guys....enjoying your awesome movement pics!

The level of finish (whether from the ground-up In-House or Modified ETA/Sellita movement), on the Alpinas sure looks spectacular all the way around.

Looking forward to checking it out in person!
