I wax My Cars after Every Wash, but I'm a Fanatic...LOL ! I would Take Your Aston to a Qualified Detailer First...it Would Be Money Well Spent Randy,I Detail My Own,and Use a High Variable Speed Buffer,w/Lambskin Buff pad 1st and Cleaner Wax,and then a Swirl remover Called Liquid Ebony by 3M,with a Honeycombed Foam Pad attachment...Then a Coat of Zymol... 3M Makes some of the Best detailing equip around and Is also Used By Most Pros  You might even want to try their starter kit..

I use a multi-part process (usually once a year), then just apply the last two steps to "maintain" the finish thru the summer months. The vehicle is a Ford SVT F150 Lightning pickup truck (380 hp; supercharged, etc). These products (step 2-5) are applied by a Porter Cable random orbital polisher, with the appropriate pad type. The crappy $20-$80 ones aren't worth a damn, and hand working the products will never produce the results of a random orbital polisher like the Porter Cable.

Step #1  Claybar

Step #2 Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner

Step #3 Meguiars Deep Crystal System Polish

Step #4 Meguiars NXT Tech Wax (This stuff is AWESOME! So easy to apply and remove)

Step #5 Meguiars HIgh Tech Yellow Carnuba Wax

Step #6 Four Star Ultimate Gloss Enhancer

The Maguiars products are reasonably priced and produce great results.

Jim
