Thanks for a ll the kind words 3T. thankyou.gif

This watch is really difficult to get good pictures of with the domed crystal and no AR.

A couple more thoughts after spending some quality time with the Stingray.

The watch is very nicely balanced and very comfortable to wear. It seems a large 42mm and has plenty of wrist presence while not being overpowering. While not being a classic "sport/diver" I thinks it is versatile enough to play on both sides of the fence.

Talk about clean. Highly legible at a glance from any and all angles. High contrast hands and markers make the Stingray a breeze to read under any condition.

Fit and finish is exceptional. There are no rough edges or uneven surfaces to be found. The crown operates smoothly and intuitively. The bezel has a smooth sure action and lines up perfectly. This is an extremely well built watch considering the price.

The drilled lugs make strap changes a breeze. This one will be fun to play around with. Lume is excellent, never coming on too strong but lasting all through the night.

The only things I would change if I had it to do again... and I was blessed with the patience to wait for a 24 week custom job are these:

Add AR coating to the sapphire.

Blasted case instead of mirror polish. This thing is going to show everything!

I might add a splash of color to the second hand.

These are fairly minor to me and may be addressed down the road. All in all, this is a really sweet watch imho! I love the look and feel!perfect.gif

PAX...Great pic!

1) send it our for blasting

2) while they are at it, have them add a splash of 3T green to the Second hand and the tip of the sweep.

3) squint and you won't need AR coating!:)

Pax, it looks real good brother. I hope it's a keeper for you, because it sure looks like it is. Just so you know, you getting yours, is part of what pushed me off the fence to order mine:).

TD-Thanks for the encouragement. I knew it would be good if you told me so. I just wasn't prepared for how good it indeed is.

Murph- Glad to enable ya'! I don't think you are going to be disappointed. Stay safe buddy!

I have a question for any and all. How do you think the Stingray would look on a Di-Modell Chronissimo?

Fella's, those are great looking watches that I've been looking at for awhile.  I'm tending toward the 70 bezel, but that 60 sure looks fine.  Congrats!!!
