Well, after my black-dialed Stowa PD didn't quite warm up to me (though the teal one sure has), I decided to try another diver that has similar appeal for me: auto, distinctive case and bezel design, quality fit and finish, and something WIS know about but none of my friends will have. ;) Enter the Doxa Sub750T Sharkhunter I know one isn't anything new to you guys, so I'll spare you and just post this one shot. I have to say that this one is love at first sight. The trademark cushion case and bezel design look stunning to me. The dial is crisp and readable, but has just enough vintage styling to keep it from seeming sterile. I just love the way it fits on my wrist -- unbelievably comfortable. On the first day I wore it to work, I actually found myself visually checking my wrist to see if it was still there. It practically feels like part of my arm. The bracelet is great, the movement is smooth, and the crown screws down easily. The bezel is IMO the single finest component of this watch. It is the easiest bezel to grip of any watch I own, and its firm, consistent rachet motion is as good as the Stowa. The lume is merely good (the Stowa wins here) but with so many other things going for it, I'm sure this Doxa is going to stay in the front row of my watch drawer for a long time.

Funny how things go....I fell in love with my STOWA at 1st sight (perhaps because it was green), but I never warmed up to the my DOXA Sharkhunter. Fortunately, Tony has given it a loving home and provided me with a couple of great watches in trade. I guess color on a STOWA makes all the difference! And enjoy the DOXA, it is a sweet watch!

Tony: It used to kill me when I'd see yours in the Watch-U-Wearin' threads! You're at least partly to blame for making me give Doxa a second look. :D If think I'm hooked! Ken: I guess these differences are what makes this hobby interesting. ;) I really do love the teal ProDiver too. I know what you mean though -- every watch that shows up on the sales corner has somehow fallen out of favor with its owner -- and so many of them are really cool. Personal taste I guess... Teddy: I'll see what I can do. Skip: How's the yellow dial in person? Got any pix of yours?

Congrats on a sweet Sharky! That's the one that started it for me, too! I'm down to just my 5000T Sharky at the moment, but as long as I have at least one Doxa in the stable I'm good! Enjoy that bad boy, it sure is a sweet looking beast!

Nice wrist-shot there! Per Teddy's request, here is a smattering of photos I took this afternoon. I gotta figure out how to use my camera's macro mode better...it seems to focus on weird targets sometimes. Well, enough talk, on to the pix:
