Good lord man. Take it easy or you are likely to explode leaving bits of watches scattered about a three state area.toon1.gif

Big Congrats, Brice.hand6.gifhand6.gifhand6.gif That's really a big stash you have there and I enjoyed reading your write-ups and spending time studying each watch.

Please share with us how you convinced the missus to accept all these newbiessubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif. We'd like to learn from you......

On the Android, I noticed that the bracelet is very similar to the Frankenmonster's, and also noted you don't like this type. My advice? Stick with the same bracelets. They might not fancy you now but look what happened with your Seiko BM -- you eventually liked it.

I use my Frankenmonsters for heavy action (in the kitchens, warehouses, commissary etc) and the bracelet's design truly resist all sorts of dings and scratches better than any bracelet I know (except the Jubilee types, of course).

So my advice: stay with the Android and Frankenmonster bracelets. As for my fee for this advice...., ship me the Parnis 50 and we're evensubtlelaugh.gif

Wear your watches (and bracelets) in good health.

I will echo some others...Good Lord Brice!!!!

The Mailman, UPS guy, and Fedex man must know you on a close and personal basis by now.  That is quite a haul for a short period of time!!!hearteyes.gif

I agree with bigrusty regarding a need for you to share your secret in keeping the wife ok with this pace of acquisitions!!!!...Please do tell!!!   ...or maybe you just like sleeping on the couch!! subtlelaugh.gif

Anyway...BIG CONGRATS...you must be beside yourself trying to decide which one to wear with all these new ones to choose from...not a bad problem to have yourock.gif

That California dial Parnis in particular caught my eye...I hear these are really easy on the wallet and that one sure looks sweet.

Enjoy all the new WIS stuff!!!!

BRICE: yeah the mailman and I are now on a first name basis:) Well actually I don't ever see him. I get all my watches mailed to the office (don't want them sitting ont he front porch if no one is home:) )and the admin gets te packages then pings me to collect them or delievrs them... She thinks I am WEIRD.... getting packages 3 times a week:)
as for wifey..hmmm let's just say I leave her alone with her spending $ for $5 coffees, $150 hairdo's and whatever she spends $ on.:) and well I don't really ask... easier to ask for fogiveness :)... All in all, I don't really spend a lot of $ on me... I don't play golf (maybe the only bank guy who doesn't :) ), go on guys' trips, go out a lot... and like I said I did get $900 in for stuff I sold and have more to sell... so.... all in all . Not too bad or hard to justify:)
YEah lots to chose from so it takes me a few minuteas each morning to decide which watch to wear:) indeed a good problem to have..
YOu should defintely go for one of those Cali Parnis... doesn't get cheaper and they'll wow you!!!  Get a cool strap for it and you got a beauty that non WIS will keep staring at in envy! ;)

BRICE: Thanks, I actually was very presently surprised by the quality of the Bernhardt! The dial color is different too. It wears reall well, light and comfortable, kind of the perfect size, really. I like the caseback, and the bracelet has 1-piece screws for each link which makes it a breeze to size and play with:) no little screw-end lost while sizing either... the bezel while not crazy is somewhat different from other divers in the way the markers/#s are setup.

About the Missus.... well read above:) no convincing, lots of .. Sorries, making up for it... coffee in bed, , flowers... ahah!
I believe you are right about the Android bracelet, I also noticed it was very similar to the Frankenmonster's in the dual texture and link type.... I just think it looks well cheap in person... I am afraid the black may wear quickly.... so I was thinking it may need upgrading but it does go well with the watch..... and like you said the Monster bracelet did grow in me :) Good advice... but no Parnis 50 for you :) well not free anyway:)

I wore only one of the Parnis, and it is great on the wrist, very pretty, hard to capture the dial's cashmere color and its fine texture on photo.... but it is well worth the $ and maybe 2 or 3 X times that... The strap was just a little weird, suede  like material, and smelled... funny:) so it had to go:) Until I get my new ones from Pana... and IWM, It is on a Croc-a-look leather from another Parnis i had. The Parmis just has a great presence on the wrist and the mvt is pleasamnt to look at, seems to be off only a few seconds today.... I need to review that more diligently though...
well that's all for now folks! :)
Laters!
Brice

Thanks guys
