Warm welcome to 3T, Mr Horologyhand6.gif. I always liked that design whether its the EcoZilla or AutoZilla and sure would welcome an AutoZilla in my collection anytime. I just prefer the bigger dimensions.:)

Two thumbs up for your super photoshand6.gifhand6.gif

Jeff, are you saying that the Zilla is too small for you? At 48mm wide x 20mm tall, if my memory is good, it's probably bigger than any of your watches. Unless I missunderstand you amigo. That thing is a monster and I can easily picture you with the Autozillahand6.gif This is no small puppy...

The Eco-Zilla is a good sized timepiece, it does play a little

smaller because the dial is smaller and bezel is larger. I think

the Autozilla is something like 55MM though.

I'm pretty sure the actual cases are the same size with the exception of the crown guard on the AutoZilla, the crown guard makes the total diameter 55mm

Nice looking watch and good pictures! I've allways been suspicious about the mvts running in those Citizen watches...Anyway, I'm not attracted by Myiota...
Jeff, you can laugh again but you know that it's agaisnt my religion to buy those watches:D.
Anyway, everybody got his taste and opinion

Unto each his own - I agree.
However, those Miyota's may not be the best loking engines, but they are rock solid and have a good track record.  I have a couple of watches with those movements, and after tweaking them a bit, they run very well indeed.

Mr H, welcome and enjoy!

You are right on that Graham: That's the appearance of those engines who allways puted me off. I heard a lot of good about them but I LOVE the great and fine finish on MVTs.
That's what made me a WIS at start: The fine ingeneering...
I bought a Hamilton 992B just for that;) and hope to find a case for it one day.
And I want a glass back on my Zenith Elite 670!!! What the hell was Zenith thinking by hiding it???
Hahahasubtlelaugh.gif
I agree that a 2824-2 is not the best looking but it seems much better than a Miyota in my eyes when a man hit the middle prices
