Though I love the watch I think it will be hard to find a strap to harness its greatness

Very nice BRP. Is the shroud solid ceramic or a ceramic coating?

Hey, nice Seiko... And nice collection. I thank you very much for sharing your photos as well as your view of this watch. It is nice to see comparison photos too, I had never seen that Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller and that's nice too, big and chunky.

I know what you mean with the problem of the strap, unfortunately not all wrists are the same and I for once, can't find a rubber strap that is comfortable. But you may want to check out the silicon type straps, they seem to be super soft and if you get the flat kind, you may find something that fit. I also saw some called isofrene or something like that, but never used them so not sure.

I am very glad you got that big black bad Marine Master, I hope you enjoy.

It's been a month, since I got my tuna. It's a great watch.

I have a omega speed master triple day-date, rolex submariner with date, yao bill mk1 and this piece.

In terms of accuracy, seiko tuna is a winner. This piece changed the image of seiko to me.

Thanks, Jeff. If you don't mind, post a review on sea dweller as well.

I am late to the party, Jeff, but holy cr*p thats a beauty! Nice review as always and enough shots to almost feel like we were there with ya for the great unveiling...!

HUGE congratulations - what a beautiful darth MM, mate!

As an aside - are there any strap/lug/mounting options which can get that puppy closer to your wrist the way you want it to be?

Wear well, and congratulations Jeff!

Yup, I've stumbled on to your post quite late, too, Jeff - but I'm glad I did! That's one spectacular watch! You're on a WIS Grail roll! first the tuna, and then the crux! Congratulations, and wear them in good health! (Bigger biceps, too, after a month!)

Jeff, BIG Congrats & a very informative review. That's 1 serious piece of hardware you purchased there...I don't think SEIKO get enough attention/recognition in the TIMEPIECE world. That's a definate keeper & worthy of some serious wrist-time...............CONGRATULATIONSthumbsup.gif

CONGRATS, thats an awesome catch. An Emperor is the king of all tunas. WOW. I LOVE IT. ;)
Very nice, my man. I like your style.
Enjoy the king.

Cheers, Dave.

Hi 3T. I just noticed that I never got to answer all the queries on my MM1000 up to a few months back....including a query on my DSSD.

I promise to revert by tomorrow.ThumbsUp02.gif
