The bronze MorayII/"BronzMo" LE #11/20 1000m has arrived and imho a very well thought out, well made, unique concept that has left me speechless!
...this example is a one off with the polished crown, caseback and HRV...the radiant brown dial against the bronze case and vintage strap is amazing imo.
...the eta 2824 winds effortlessly...the crown screws down equally as nice and the entire crown assembly is much larger than most watches and gives one a sense of security...in the last pic you will see the thick unique lug screw which is really a springbar in disguise!...with the drilled lugs and this new springbar feature straps are easily swapped and the appearance of a single screw lug is retained.
...The double domed saph is crystal clear and the bezel action is crisp and precise...the straps are high grade and a vintage Panny style mod-dep buckle as well as a bull nose is included with the beautiful leather straps...
...the presentation case is once again a pleasant extra for which Benarus is known as well as the exceptional lume!
...hopefully the sun will appear on this snowy, overcast day so I can post a few pics that really show off the radiant brown dial...all in all Ralf & Steve have once again created a awesome timepiece that will weather with age and something for it's owners to look forward to to!
ThumbsUp02.gif...more pics to come.

WOOHOO Oscar!!! my love.gifdrool.gifwowzer.gifparty.gif

Absolutely love it!!!

Mine is incoming (hope to have it this weekend?), and I selected similar to yours...Brown Numbered Dial, but with Brushed ss HRV, Crown, and Caseback.  The one off polished ss that you were able to secure looks fantastic with the Bronze case by the way!!!bravo.gif

Gorgeous...simply gorgeous...Let the Bronze Patina Begin!!!

Speaking of patina, I received a pic from Steve of his "oxidized Bronze Moray" compared to the recently manufactured ones...I absolutely love the look of the Bronze with generous oxidation and patina and hope to do an accelerated oxidation process on mine very soon.

Here's the pic with Steves oxidized model on the left, and a fresh Bronze model on the right.  I love it!!!

that won't be easy unless I have 1 made Mike...not even Anonimo offers a bronze buckle...and I'm not sure if Panerai will offer one with their new "Bronzo" ...either way having one made will probably be more cost effective so to all the strap/buckle makers it's time to get moving!
...polishing the SS buckle to match the crown, caseback and HRV is what I am doing at the moment.....

Really good looking! Congrats Oscar: Your first bronze watch? I saw a thread in the lug's hole(3rd pic from the top): So a screw could be inserted instead of a spring-bar?

But a thread is allready there in the lug-hole: Seems like it to me. So you don't need to thread the bronze by enforcing a screw-bar. This thread is in bronze: Soft,so the spring-bar could damage it by getting in contact with it...The only way to protect a soft thread is to set a screw in...

it's not that soft Will..it is a bronze alloy which was  discussed in the Benarus forum last year when the watch was being talked about...same as the Anonimo....I only stated that if someone were to use a case hardened screw that it may not need to be tapped/threaded on the small end and should be able to forge threads on it's own...this faux screw springbar is very secure and I don't see why anyone would want to replace it with a screw?..this springbar is thick in the center much like a Panny tube that is used to reinforce their screw lug...ThumbsUp02.gif
