Very cool retro design. That is one of the nicest shades of orange I have seen on a dive watch, it looks almost like tangerine.

Is that a raised stainless ring outside around the crystal? I like the the case back on this pretty cool!!

Congrats..

Thanks for the encouraging comments, 3T buds!

@O--haven't had a moment to look at the whole package... looks like I have a free weekend so I'm hoping to play around with it a bit.

@joecb--it looks as though this raised flange wil be where the bezel removal tool will connect

i really like the alternate bezel over the black one...I agree with Oscar, the orange markers against the SS is cool!! The bezel machining gives it a real industrial look..

Mark, the black bezel makes the Tortuga look like the diver that it is. But it's a common look and looks different only because of the case's shape viz most divers.

However, on the alternate SS bezel, the watch looks very different. It still shouts that its a diver but the exaggeration of the raised glass combining with the drooping bezel's slope is unique. The scalloped bezel ring is also rare. Yes, looks industrial and looks very cool.

It's sure to turn some heads. I like the alternate bezel more than the black traditional bezel.

Still a very good-looking diver.
