& Brice he did insure it, but what does that do for me.

I posted this for the right purpose & to inquire results /options I may have if any.

Now on some other forums i belong too people r doing the blaming game, "maybe I'm the dishonest 1 here", maybe this, maybe that , I TRULY BELIEVE IT WAS HIM..I'm best friends w/ Bob aka warriorrider here on the above post, & he was w/ me & knows all the selling & saving I did for this purchase.

I also did all my due dilligence on the seller, because I purchase the seller 1st b4 anything & I was a little worried after sending the $$ bcuz it took him hours sometimes days to get back w/ me AFTER I HAD ALREADY WIRED THE $$.

Will here on our forum "the sheriff " said he was ok that he had purchased a watch from him, BUT THAT TOO WAS AFTER I HAD ALLREADY SENT THE $$$. because I was worried & asked Rolf if he knew him then WILL emaild me that he knew him too.

BOTTOM LINE IS I'M OUT ALOT OF $$ (@ least thats alot for me)
if it was insured, and he honestly didn't rip you off as I assume he did not, then he needs to file the claim in order to receive the insurance money, which in turn he refunds to you... as I previously said, you needed to take the package to the PO immediately,S**t I would have chased the carrier down,so that it was made clear within minutes that something was wrong.
....if you felt something was wrong after you sent him the funds, then is when you should have done a stop payment...I have stopped paypal payments when I haven't heard back an hour or more after making a deal and paying far less money with someone I am 1st time dealing with.
I don't believe anyone here chastised you, rather good advice from WIS who have been around for many years.

Oscar you cant stop a wire transfer according to my bank officials once it's sent.

I TRIED

I've been to the post office, & my bank

as Bob said I was helping him move a fridge today when all this went down & we were'nt @ my house doing it.

I believe he did, he's only answered 1 email from me when I emailed him..that sounds guilty to me & alot of other WIS.

did'nt me to stir up a SHYT storm OVER ME GETTING RIPPED OFF..

Thought I could share here w/ you guys
William, all you have shared with us here is what looks like a box that was tampered with, and from what I can see as the weight of the package being around 1lb4xx ounces seems to be less than what I expect the tiles to weigh, and as far as scenarios go,what if a postal worker stole the watch, and what if that PO was under repair with some old tiles lying around, and he slipped his old Wal-Mart Armitron in there as well?...stories are a dime a dozen Buddy...now if you want help than we are here to help, but if you're looking for sympathy, sorry, facts are what you need right now if you want to see your $$ imho...

Watchdaddy this is horrible, and I hope it gets resolved in your favor soon. This type of thing happening has always prevented me from purchasing anything overseas for a large amount of money... just too many hands in the pot. This just proves that sometimes paying the extra money to send it overnight is worth it.

William, take into account that Norway is 6 hours ahead of us...if the seller doesn't reply to your e-mails or on the WUS feedback thread in his awake time, then let's see what the next step should be...

i think it is important to check the package weight. Did you do that? Is it insured for the whole amount? Then it should be no problem..

William, you got dealt a joker and it sure hurts.  Makes me sick to the gut when something like this happens.
I really hope you can get to the bottom of this somehow.
It boggles my mind how a fellow WIS with a fairly good standing in the community can get up to something like this.  I tend to lean towards a third party involvement......
Just my lawyer guts speaking here....
Do keep us posted and good luck

William,I have said to you once before, never go after a seller or vendor publicly until you have tried to resolve the matter civilly...seems like the seller in this case is trying to do so imo....I'm not taking sides here, just trying to see both sides until a positive solution is agreed on.

Re: ronnanol = SCAM ARTIST*** SCAM ALERT***
William (OP)
I have provided you with photos where you can see the process of the packaging step by step. You can also see the package and label at the post office with the tracking info.
As you see the package has been opened AFTER I sent it, because I never used that white/transparent tape. I ONLY used green tape.

I wish you would hold your accusations until we figure out what happened here. I could accuse you of scamming me by stealing my watch and trying to get your $5700 refunded, but it would be no point to do so. It doesn't make sence either, just like your accusations doesn't make sence.
Why would I scam you? I have tons of references and feedback as seller and buyer. I have done several international trades also. It would be suicide in here to scam you. But now I guess you have killed my reputation in here anyway. I was given a heads up that you have posted this on several other watch forums also. Thanks.

What I meant in previous post is that you never gave me an opportunity to refund your money before you wrote this post. The only response you have given me to my emails is that" you hate me, and that I'm a dirtbag" and so on. Not ONCE have you tried to communicate with me or listen to my side of the deal. It seems like this is the only place we can communicate without you calling me names.

You say that you had to badger me for reply after you sent the money? I responded right away, where I told you about earlier experiences from international bank wire, and told you that it might take 2-3 days at least before the funds were in my bank account.
During these days you sent me a few mail, and I responded to ALL your mails, but I was out of the house scubadiving one of the days, and I did not answer until the next day. Does that make me a scammer? I also made you aware that we were in different time zones, this may have resulted in some delays also.

I want to get to the bottom of this and clear my name.

This really sucks! I have a rule that I never buy used watches from forums that are more than a few hundred dollars.....Hope this works out for the best.....I do agree with Oscar...that box looked like it was broken into during transit.......

The last picture shows a label....is that what  was on the front of the box???? Why would you put "watch and accessories" on the label? That would say "steal me"...mistake.gif

I have responded to that thread Oscar. Thank you guys for the support it's appreciated.

 1) Maybe he replaced it, y would a wrker put tile in it & a watch ??

2) Y is he P/M'n Rolf on the Norweign watch forum, but wont reply to me OR MY emails I've sent.Time difference or not this should be his #1 priority-it would be mine 1st & foremost

 3) If this was'nt him in the end (I'm a man )  I will make a public apology to him & every 1 involved .

I personally believe it wasn't him, but I could be wrong. William I can understand your frustration, I would be one P.O. mofo. You must have some patience even when the seller fill out a claim it's going to take a while, I have dealt with the postal service claim process when they lost a package ( Wii game player) a year ago it's a pain in the rear end.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon, Good luck.
