The moVas train has finally pulled into the station. It was a long train ride, but I'm glad that I stayed on. This was a great learning experience for me. Sean taught me a lot about the entire watch making process and think that was one of his goals.

I know there haven't been many photos circulated of these divers so I decided to post some here. Mine we the first 2 to receive the new crown guards and dials. The Avante Garde diver actually has black lume that turned out awesome. I was really skeptical when Sean said he was changing the crown guard because that was the thing about the watch that I really loved. Needless to say, he knew what he was doing.

I'm extremely happy with both of these 2 watches. The Avant Garde is like nothing I have, and quickly became my favorite of the pair. Although once I made a strap swap, the Pro diver is a very awesome looking watch itself. These watches took a long time to be completed, and their not perfect. But I'm completely satisfied with them. Especially knowing that I had a had in the way each one looked.

After the swap switch. The stock strap is great just a little to snug for my 7.5 inch wrist.

This is a lume shot of the AG diver with the black lume after 20 minutes in direct sunlight.

This is the Professional diver after the same amount of time.

I don't think I can stress how happy I am with these 2 without sounding too much like a fanboy, but I'm really pleasantly surprised by how much I like these. The rubber strap is awesome and the moVas dual deployant might be the best one I've own. I can really tell a lot of thought went into the design of this.

I have to get to work. Enjoy the pics. Oh. The reason I say it was a surprise is because I didn't get a tracking number for the package. Sean said I had been so patient in waiting for them, that I didn't need a tracking number. So I had no idea when the package would get to my house. Sean thought that was kind of funny.

Wow,,,2 very sweet watches. Both have a different edge to them. Nice strap choices and that OEM rubber with deployant is awesome.

Both look really good on your wrist. I would not be able to pull that off with my puny wrist thoughwhichone.gif.

Congrats! PS: The new crown guards are much better both in function and form, IMHO.

Thanks guys. I really love them. I also agree that the new crown guards looks great. There is a little gap in there where they the don't sit flush agaist the case but it's minimal.

Which one did you have? Either way, I think you're going to love it. The dials look great on both of mine. I have a couple of sandwich dial watches, but these are the best I've had so far.

I also didn't notice until last night that the same lug bars and screws for the straps are used in the bracelet. I don't have that many watches, but is that normal? I was impressed by that little feature.

I have had my AGP Diver since Aug.2011...and yes it is common for the same lug screw to be used on multiple bracelet/straps...ThumbsUp02.gif
