At long last!  I placed an order for one of these shortly after I saw the first net pics.  Got the call from the AD this morning at last!
Everything has already been said about this watch.  (see Jeff's fine writeup lower down)  I think it represents incredible value, quality and most of all, heritage.  It is difficuilt to justify a Rolex Sub price wise once you've held this in your hands....( I know, ETA inside, but let's not go there now...)
There is a long list of thngs to be said about this watch.  Give me a week or two to report back on my findings though.  In the meantime, some Q&D pics from the cellphone:
My friend at the Rolex dealership, busy unpacking.  BB on his wrist, his DSSD and my Daytona in the foreground

Wrist shot on the dealer's wrist

....and another one......matches his outfit!

Finally on my own wrist!

Big Congrats again, Graham! You will really be very happy with that especially when you start noticing the way the dial presents itself.

I took mine to the RSC a few days ago to have it registered under my name and they just saw the BB for the very first time. It's really a little hard to find up to now.

Enjoy it in good health, amigo
