Thanks for the specs of the watch Jeff !

I would have thought they would be bigger. But this is the best size for this watch I think.

Thanks for the detailed dimensions Jeff!

Would love to see a side-by-side pic between the SD and the GMT2C if you get some time my friend! The SD is a true classic.

Your wish is my command, amigo. I took some shots of both today and will compose my thoughts for a post of a side-by-side. ThumbsUp02.gif

Nice one Jeff - another beauty. Have you considered a "double red" SD? Regardless - this beaut with the thick crystal and the perfect detailing was a mission worth the wait. Big props, mate!

Thanks Sheriff, Rolf and Ian.

@William....my moods are changing and the non-cyclops models are becoming very intersting for me.

@Rolf....you can do it, Rolf. same route you took on the Emperor Tuna, amigo.

@IanM....i never considered the Double Red SD whether or not it's the 16660 or the meters first or any of the other reds. I simply can't afford any of them and they are also too hard to find in Excellent or Mint condition. Somehow, I also prefer to collect the modern versions and lean on their new materials and lubricants.

Hello Jeff, you have acquired an awesome Rolex cool.gif and are the epitome of a horologist bravo.gif!!! Enjoy wearing your new Rolex as much as your Seiko's! Have a great day and weekend, cheers Norm.

P.S. I'll send you a PM soon and try to catch up with you (did you purchase the Doxa Sub 1200T?), I hope you and your family are doing well. I'll write to you soon.
