This watch finally made it home!
Looking for a more friendly version of the 60mm/right-side crown of the Zlatoust military diver, I found this destro 53mm model on Agat Russian site.
They also have a German site.
After some emails exchanged with Mr Fedotov (good man!), my watch was hitting the Russian mail services straight from the Zlatoust town factory in the Ural... But something was on...
Tracking it, I found out that the customs from Moscow sent it back to the factory!WTF!?
Well, Agat also makes instruments and else: Maybe the customs tried to protect some national interest? Who knows...
Weird, as it never happened before the guy told me...
Anyway, Mr fedotov resent it at once and it finally made it's way home!
Arriving this morning to my door...Loved it at first sight.
The watch comes in a wooden box with a Russian notice where the watch's number is registered by hand.
The leather strap is good and fitting well with the whole style.
It's an automatic model with sterile dial as the original ,housing the Vostok 2415, who gives some life on the dial with it's sweeping second hand, compare to the mechanical version(hour/minute hands) who gives a quiet feeling.
Rated for 700m, this rough looking diver feels ready for anything

For those thinking that I bought a Russian copy from Invicta: Go to bed and do your lessons when you wake up...

Thanks Phil! The lug to lug distance is already great: 68mm...
A Zulu would just add to that: Not so tempting...

Big congrats on the new arrival Zlatoust Will! bravo.gif

Love the purposeful tool design of this beast...from the case, to the crown, to the dial & hands.  Looks very well built!thumbsup.gif

Did you say 68mm lug-to-lug length?  That would definitely be beyond my personal comfort zone given my puny wrists (58mm is about the absolute max I will go and that assumes a reasonable lug design).

But that's just me...you rock it out Will!  Enjoy!

Thanks! Yes, not everybody's taste but I never been a guy following the trends: I like special stuffs.
There's a deep heritage as well as a "macho" feeling about wearing this watch: Only for men with hairy chest, hairy arms, hairy back, hairy a... & b...
Well, ok, you have to try it if you don't shave everyday
