It's finally home!
The mailman came with it and I can't remember being so exited for a packageboy10.gif
It's everything I wanted... Superb finish, stellar lume ,very nice signed G.P crown with a perfect grip who's easy to screw in and feels comfortable on the wrist due to it's 4 o'clock's orientation.
I love everything about it and even some would critisize the deep date window, I would say that it makes it very discreet but still available and easy on the eyes: At list mine.
The double anti-reflect coated crystal raise slightly above the bezel with a light dome shape: I'll be careful with it as I personally want it to stay fresh without scratches or cracks on the sides.
I like the power reserve on the dial: Great info who's looking good there.
The hands are well elevated over the mat black dial and are giving a nice 3 dimentional effect under the close to invisible crystal.
The case is 45mm wide and 20mm thick but light to wear due to the titanium. Sitting perfectly on my wrist.
A blend of blasted/brushed and polished finishes on it shows attention to details.
The 120 clicks bezel is easy to manipulate and firm enough, falling right in place. I can't compliment this watch enough as it's the best diver I ever put hands on.
Well designed case, good for 3000 meters and ready for anything.
The 2 helium valves: One at 9 o'clock and the other at 2:30 guarantee a non popping dial even the watch would rise up from the dark deep like a raging sperm-whale.
It's impressive all the way around...
Girard-Perregaux is among the greatest houses around and I would say that in my opinion, this watch is like a P.P Nautilus crossed with a DSSD under a titanium full moon: Think what you want of it as I don't own any of those watches but that's the feeling I have.
Here's some shots: Light is poor and only there for a few hours in this season up here...
Sorry to leave you: Can't look at it and the screen at the same time

Hey Will,

big congrats on your  Newbie ! happy guy.gif

Outstanding timepiece you've got there.wowzer.gif

Love that chunky case with the big crownguard. Looks like an asymmetrical case. Love it.

Hot dial with unique date position.
Hand set is awesome too.

Has a great wrist presence.

Thanks Philippe! Yes, you're right about the wrist presence: You can't miss it when it goes by!
