Couple of days ago I posted my 1969 Rolex Oyster Date
Perpetual Ref. 1500 in the New Arrivals.

Well, here is the same watch with it's original box.

I too agree with your comment, Oscar.

Heck it may not be the Steve McQueen's 1967 Rolex 5512
Submariner.

Just to be able to own a Rolex from 1969 is
as close to owning a watch that was made in my birth year.

off by one year is close enough, I suppose.

Thank you Stew, I am enjoying the timepiece everyday for the past three weeks now.

I am excited about receiving the 1972 Rolex Ref. 1601 from my uncle who is returning it back, after 34 years on loan from my dad.
