I love mine but I wish I knew Marc had them before I ordered from Eddie Platts...oh well...still it is a great watch!
Mine is the updated version too with 2824 and non-screw down crown. My only concern is the fully polished finish. I think if one were to go diving in waters where barracuda were about there would be trouble! Plus I see every tiny little mark and go running for the Cape Cod cloth!
Maybe it is time to ship it to Duarte for a full bead blast, hmmmm.

Basically, the movement...the "old" model has a lo-beat ETA 2452 with screw down crown and the new models use the ETA 2824-2 with gasket.  Cosmetically, they look the same!

Zippo...when mine gets too ratty, the bead-blast is the way to go.  I've seen them and it's a great look!

The Matte finish is actually an option. Zeno has options for every darn watch they make, so  you wind up with thousands of combos, literally!
