Having said that I will root for the NFC Champion New York Football Giants. I have to go with the underdogs. Not too mention the BS Belicheck pulled earlier this season. Coach of the year my butt...cheater of the year is more like it!!

Truthfully I could care less but do plan on having a fun time at CJ's place.

Hating the coach is no reason to hate the team....why do you hate him?...because he is sooooo damn good and could beat the Packers?  (Heck...even the Bears walloped the Packers!)

I'm not a fan of either team...and actually (bigot that I am) detest the whole NY/NE FU culture, but I am rooting for the Patriots simply from the sense of history.  I was living in Ft. Lauderdale when the Dolphins went 17 - 0 (Earl Morrell deserves credit for that...not Bob Griese).  A 19 - 0 Season would be one for the history books...besides, I am a big Tom Brady fan, as, much like Favre) he was disdained by all, barely made the draft as he was considered just another "also ran"...and now, they both lead the NFL in damn near every QB statistic!

Hey Ken, I never said I hated Belicheck. I do thing he's a great coach but I don't neccesarily agree with his methodology. I am sure his methods are widespread,  and that doesn't make it all right. I still find him a bit of a souless automoton.

I'll root for the Giants for a historical perspective too. that of protecting my beloved '72 Dolphins perfect season. And you're right about Earl Morral... he is always forgotten in the remembrance of that perfect sesaon!!

...and the other most under estimated QB in Pro-Ball....George Blanda!

Well since I'm a Raider fan.....and our organization is so screwed up and the owner Al Davis is a mess.  Looking forward to a good Superbowl.  Ya I agree Belicheck is no Bill Parciels, his mentor.  He lacks personality and character.

Mark yes Brett Farve is great, but Bart Star is a legend how many championships and superbowls did he win.......?

Well the KC Chiefs went 4 and 12 or something like that...So since my team isn't going to the "show" I'm kind of torn...Pats are strong, damn near flawless in my opinion...Giants however have won their last 10 road games and have everything to prove...

So now I will sprinkle is some destiny...Are the Pats destined to achieve that perfect season???  Is Eli destined to win and make all kinds of "Manning" history in the NFL???  I don't know fellas this is a little to complicated for me, I'm putt'n all my money on the commercials, LMAO...Heard TV time is going for about 10k a second, for that much money I would hope they put out some good ones...

In closing, HAHAHAHA, I really wanted to see Brett go all the way this year...Guess that makes me a closet Packers fan, just don't tell the Chiefs, HAHAHAHA...

Oh I just had a flash. I predict there will be a winner that makes many happy and others not. LOL :D

But the half time show should be great. And I'm also looking forward to the commercials to see how crazy and out landish they will be this time. ;)

Hey Ken ... what are your thoughts on Billy Kilmer ?????  With all the talk of Blanda and Morrall ...... The plan is (as it is for the Packer Games ) to watch the game (in the addition we built out back of the house) on the Plazma in high-def , with Pizza and shrimp and beer etc etc ........Pax and myself and a few others have made it a regular thing ..... the addition is the only place in the house you can drink and smoke and swear ( if you are inclined to do so )

Favre will be a legend in years to come...very few are "legends" in their own time, perhaps Montana and Namath being a couple of exceptions.
