Agree somewhat, but this does not change my view. Let's hope for one great evening ;)

Either way, I hope for a great game and look forward to those commercials and the half time show. cool10.gif

No...the coach is in charge of the team, and develops the team, and devises the game plans in accordance with the talent...but usually, the Quarterback (on the offense) leads the team..and, of course, the defense needs a good leader also.  Once the teams are on the field...it is the players who lead!

Patriots are a 12-point favorite with oddsmakers right now. My kid brother follows this stuff real close. But either way this will be a historic game. Either the perfect season for the Pats or the perfect upset for NYG. ;)

Pizza is ready for the oven, beer is chilling and my cats are warming up my chair. LOL :D

To echo others..what...no Namath?

Unitas couldn't run, Elway had a hard time winning unless he was in Denver where the opponents ran out of steam from lack of oxygen.  Kelly couldn't win the "Big One"...and Dan Marino just plain sucked...he was such a one dimensional player it was ridiculous.  He single-handedly destroyed the Dolphins as a competitive team...he just plain sucked, both as a quarterback and as a leader!...Now Kenny "the Snake", he was awesome!

Montana, Staubach, Namath, Bradshaw, Brady, P Manning, Favre, Stabler, Graham, Dawson, Starr, Unitas...and Elway, Kelly and, especially Marino, don't even belong on that list!!!mistake.gif...and let's not forget McMahon...if he hadn't been so injury prone and had gained some longevity, he would have been one of the greats!

Unitas not on a best quarterback list is absurd ..... Yes Namath was a winner but his stats are laughable .... look them up !!!! He was a Hall of famer because he was cocky,  flashy and backed it up ..... Its all subjectable and I see your point ..... But how was Unitas voted the all century team quarterback back in the 1970,s ?????

Namath...he won games...and he beat Unitas in the big one.  Quarterback of the century, voted in the 1970's....the vote could have been 30 years too early.  In the last 20 years of the century, his immobility would've caused serious problems for his stats!  It is all subjective...but too me, nobody sees the game in "slow-motion" when on the field like Montana and the others in the Top 10 (as I see it).

Now...that said, I could be wrong....but I'm not!goofy

Having said that I will root for the NFC Champion New York Football Giants. I have to go with the underdogs. Not too mention the BS Belicheck pulled earlier this season. Coach of the year my butt...cheater of the year is more like it!!

Truthfully I could care less but do plan on having a fun time at CJ's place.
