Very Cool

The size of your compound is very impressive, I wish I had all that land to play on.

Keep up the good work

cheers

East Coast...Midwest...Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm originally from L.I., NY, and glad I don't have to suffer in the cold any longer. We have our problems out here in Cali, but you just can't beat the weather. It was a cool 71 today.

Ken,  For me to heat my 2 buildings and my house it is about 1300 a month and rising with the cost of fuel.  We usually have the heat on late oct thru may.  This model is for 14k sq ft.  The cost of the furnace was $8290.  I probably have close to another 4k in all the pipe, fittings, heat exchangers and pumps and such.  In 2 years it should pay for itself. If you are only doing a house it would be much less. The 8k sq.ft. model sells for $6290.  They also have 4k and 2k sq.ft. models for less.  I had to run almost 900 feet of pipe to all the buildings.  I saved a good chunk of change also doing it all myself.

All I will need to buy is oil and gas for my chainsaw and the time to get it cut.  I just bought a new husqvarna 460 saw so I am ready to go.

I just remembered for you guys that live in town this company makes a low emission model that puts out virtually no smoke or ash.  They advertise it as the "legal choice in many urbanized areas"  If you are tired of paying high heating bills like me I highly recommend.  I am not affiliated with this company, I did a ton of research before buying since it is such an investment and this outfit seems to have what it takes.  http://www.wooddoctorfurnace.com  click on "converter" for urban areas.
