Sci- Fi all the way Stargate and Stargate-Alantis are great shows but my number 1 show Battle Star Galactic.  I had to chim in on this because Star Wars is like the creator the beginning of it all hmmm,"the father to Sci-Fi".  Oh I forgot Startrek, well Star Wars helped.

Skip, you bugger!! I thought I was the only one into Space 1999. I had the lunchbox as a school boy.

You are all geeks!!

The problems I have with the boxed Star Wars Trilogy I have is that Lucas went and added some CGI crap that wasn't there the first go round. Buggers the works imho.

For me 2001 still is the king!!

Anybody into the Hayyrhausen films?

Hey Pax,  Just to show how big of a sci fi geek I am, check this out..  I still have it.  I even had the space ship when I was a kid.   It was pretty cool.  I had all the GI JOE stuff, Star wars, BSG, 6 million$ man.  No Star Trek toys though, dont know if they made any.  I also have some of my SW figurines, the X wing and landspeeder.  I had so many cool toys when I ws a kid but when my parents got divorced it ws pretty ugly and my dad destroyed most of my stuff.  I also had about every big Tonka truck.  Its all gone.:(

That's the one!! Totally cool.

I had a ton of GI Joe stuff along with Big Jim and the $6 million man. My parents got rid of it all for next to nothing at a rummage sale.

for some reason they had the foresight to hold onto the Tonkas and Buudy-L's which my kids and nieces and nephews play with when visiting the Grandparents.

It's great you got to preserve some of it!

LOL my folks had quite the rummage sale after I left home too. Thousands of dollars worth of toys, sports cards, DC and Marvel comics gone for pennies. I didn't talk to them for awhile after that.

I know what you mean Skip,  If I still had all my stuff and sold it on ebay I could go on one heck of a vacation....or buy some REALLY cool watches.  Did any of you have the Evil kenevil bike and RV that you wound up the bike and it would do jumps?  I imagine those go for a pretty penny now.  But, being the packrat that I am I wouldnt sell it.
