I had a ton of GI Joe stuff along with Big Jim and the $6 million man. My parents got rid of it all for next to nothing at a rummage sale.

for some reason they had the foresight to hold onto the Tonkas and Buudy-L's which my kids and nieces and nephews play with when visiting the Grandparents.

It's great you got to preserve some of it!

LOL my folks had quite the rummage sale after I left home too. Thousands of dollars worth of toys, sports cards, DC and Marvel comics gone for pennies. I didn't talk to them for awhile after that.
I know what you mean Skip,  If I still had all my stuff and sold it on ebay I could go on one heck of a vacation....or buy some REALLY cool watches.  Did any of you have the Evil kenevil bike and RV that you wound up the bike and it would do jumps?  I imagine those go for a pretty penny now.  But, being the packrat that I am I wouldnt sell it.

Talk about bringing back some memories. I had toys from most of those. If I didn't have it, my friends did. I loved that Evil Kenievil motorcycle. Here's another one, How about the Alien figure that had the jaws that came out and bit. GI Joe and the 6million dollar man got killed by that a few timessubtlelaugh.gif.

Gotta agree with you here on Battle Star Gallactica...to bad it's been such a dismal commercial success...great story line and terrific acting...I am so bummed!

Oh yeah, LOVE the new Battlestar Galactica. Too bad I'm missing the second season. Or is it already over? Either way I'll have to get the dvd's to see it when I get back. Such a great, great show. I was hooked completely from the mini series that the Sci Fi Channel did. I was also a fan of the original as a kid.

Yea,  I like BSG also.  Did any of you ever watch Farscape on scifi?  That was a pretty good show.  I also like Star Trek Enterprise.  I was sad to see that end.  I always did like Scott Bakula and haveing Jolene Blalok there for eye candy didnt hurt either.
I am sitting here watching Empire and its such a shame that the acting and script from the new 3 suck compared to the originals.  Lucas did fine direing star wars but others directed Empire and Jedi and they were much better.  I think if he had others direct the new one they may have been better.   Just MHO.

Forgot about Farscape. I got hooked on that one as the storyline got more developed. I was pissed when it got cancelled, but then got all jazzed up when they brought it back for a finale. The funny thing is, it didn't get cancelled because of low ratings. In fact, they had great ratings. It got cancelled because of production costs.

Jury is still out but I'm leaning towards human.

SHUSH! You guys are killing me with such a teaser. I have absolutely no clue whats going on in BSG right now. I haven't seen a single episode since the season ended last year.

That's one if my all-time favorites.

My parents made the mistake of taking me to see this in the theater. I have only the vaguest recollection. What I do remember is that I was had a fit because they told me they were taking me to a space movie and all I saw were monkeys... Funny how immediate things are when you're all of five!!crap.gif I don't remember going to another movie with my parents until about 1977!!
