Not a good memory for me; I was in my Houston office, with our normal satellite feeds---both video and audio--with our corporate headquarters in the WTC, #1; we were subject to watching and listening to everything going on from the time the plane struck until all communications were cut! My company lost over 1000 employees, 47 of whom worked directly for me; I was in the WTC the week before! too many memorials, funerals, etc. to ever forget!!!

Take a few moments on Sunday morning and remember those that perished!

I was a block or two away from arriving at work(Jacob Javits Federal Building), spent the rest of the day calling co-workers/friends to see if they were alright!  My best friend was chased by the dust cloud from WTC to my workplace at 26 Federal Plaza.  He worked at WTC, and as soon as he got out of the subway a cop shooed him accross the street.  He outran the dust cloud, but he told me my workplace got dusted.  One co-worker got overtaken  by the dust cloud while walking across the brooklyn bridge to get home.  Being a federal employee, my workplace is now constantly having street shutdowns due to suspicious packages or unattended cars.  I feel sorry for all the immigrants who are inconvenienced when our building shuts down and they stand outside for hours on end waiting for our building to re-open, in all kinds of weather!  But, What can you do, you take one day at a time and go on with your life!
