Wow Edgel I am so glad to hear you decided to stick around with us. See what happens when you retire?

I see cardiac cath patients everyday and I can tell you that you should start to feel a lot better as long as your stents hold. You'll know if they don't.

And if you and CJ are getting a call together, let's make it a 3-way. I would like to hear more about your experience.

Again... I can't tell you how happy I am to be typing this message to you and not just wondering what happened to Edgel!

Glad you are still with us.  You were very lucky as was I.

I put off going to the Doctor with my "heartburn" because I had no insurance.

Got insured and 6 days later had a quad bypass, too far gone for stents.  Dr said I probably wouldnt have lasted 2 more weeks.

I didnt have any religious experience during surgery or before.  Wish I had.

Now watch your diet, fat intake, exercise and go out and buy a new watch to celebrate life.

Hey Edgel, happy to hear you are OK, spent 20 hours at Riverside about a year ago, all kinds of test and poking, luckily mine was not a "cardiac event" as they called it, probably just stress.

Did they take you to Riverside or the new Dublin hospital?  If the new hospital fails as a hospital it would be really easy to turn it into a hotel....it's amazing.

I asked to be taken to Riverside, Nick. My sister works there and I used to be engaged to the director of Heart Services there. A hospital shouldn't be so opulant as the new Dublin branch!

Jeez, Edgel, I am shocked and very happy they brought you back!

As I starting reading your description, I thought at first it was the same thing that happened to me about 16 months ago.  My situation was MUCH better, though, as I only had a gallbladder attack and had the damned thing removed!  It was a scary pain, but your ordeal was the real thing.

Welcome back! ThumbsUp02.gif
